Special OTR transformers for metallurgy and the iron processing industry. These are transformers with a power of up to 100 K, with flow control, booster or autotransformer and low-voltage inputs made of tubular or copper plates. The most important factors that should be taken into account when designing furnace transformers are the high currents required for the melting process and the high amplitude of the secondary voltages, which are regulated by the RPNs under load or directly on the high-voltage winding or via an intermediate transformer in the same housing.
